Hi Mike, I was advised not to antifoul my legs, first season I had a lot of growth, they cleaned up fairly well with careful power washing, however it used to really annoy me so I decided to use Trilux 33 second season. It did a really good job and certainly must have helped with fuel consumption. Jerry

I have just read your recent post Charlie, very interesting. As far as I am aware MDL are closing there marinas on Thursday. As far as I can see and understand, I cannot see that the Comp this coming weekend will be able to happen. However if other marinas stay open!!!!! I think everyone should take it that very sadly we will postpone the Species Competition until we get clarification that we can use our boats again.

The news today of Twin Sails closing the weekend of the re scheduled competition, will unfortunately mean a small number of boats will not be able to join in. I have spoken with Cobbs who hopefully might be able to organise alternative moorings elsewhere, for any boats moored there, who wish to participate and cannot get under the bridge. I will post when I get a reply from Cobbs. Please get in touch with me if you berth at Cobbs and would like to put your boat in another marina for a week. Hopefully Cobbs will give a positive reply. I think we need to leave it 24 hrs before a decision is made, at the moment it’s not looking too good I agree, though things do seem to change a lot at short notice.
