  1. Jim, That is a definite possibility then. I have to collect some glasses, so no fixed time to get them. Could go early and make sure I am back in Christchurch by 4:30 PM ish. ( If I can get off work early, could collect them on Friday possibly and then Saturday I have nothing stopping me going any time then ).
  2. No boat and have an opticians appointment
  3. Thank god for that. All I did was post what I consider a useful link for the members who run E-Tec's. Why am I not surprised it was hijacked by some ??
  4. Jim, LOL is what the smilie face is ( it stands for lots of laughs ). ie. I would have been up for a trip out on Friday afternoon, but don;t come under the experienced category ( although not totally inexperienced ) - just not very good ! However, I have my nephew and sister coming over so taking them out fishing myself hopefully. cheers Pauk

    Ice Machine

A similiar thought crossed my mind. Find someone to run / house it and I could purchase it for the club using some website proceeds ? Also involves getting it plumbed in ( I find plumbers are always so busy ). Then there is the running costs and access to the ice by all and sundry.
  9. One suggestion which will help you is to join the club
  10. Saw this link on WSF - Useful for all the E-Tec owners. E-Tec Forum

    custom and excercise

A mentioned above you will eventually receive a customs bill ( I got mine via Parcelforce who charge a fee to collect the duty as well - The fee was almost as much if not more than the duty they needed to collect as well ). I got a letter through the door and went to the parcelforce depot to collect ( and pay the duty ).

  17. We now have the ability to accept payments using Paypal and Credit Card payments for renewals and new membership. There is a link in the forum in the JOIN HERE category. I will also be setting up the ability to purchase some items of club clothing online as well and if the demand is there will increase the items available. Feel free to comment on this new facility - Good or bad

  19. I bought this book from the BASS society and it is a really good read. Since some of the proceeds will be going to the restoration fund I think it is reasonable to show the advertisment here :- [dohtml] <h5 class="sub">The book of the Society: 'Bass and B.A.S.S.'</h5> <p>A superb selection of articles and letters from the B.A.S.S. magazine over the years, with some new material specially written.Designed, edited and published by Geoff Gonella in conjunction with Peter Macconnell and John Morgan.</p> <p>Bound in hardback with dust wrapper, a high quality book.Price:

  21. Gordon, What have I done !! - Jimbob does indeed have a raider and manages to catch bass no problem. I think the solution is to get the float away from the boat - but there again my catch record is hardly prolific in the "stealth Orkney".
  22. Terry, We also caught some of those minature mackeral. Never seen them so small before, sprat sized mackeral.

She looks good Simon. All shiney.

    Its Here

Perhaps I will be able to keep up while Simon is still running in Easier to jump onboard though. Christening your new boat with a bass sounds a great idea to me
  25. Nope - you are quite correct Simon.
