Hi I have just come across your site and am impressed.I have joined the club and hope to find someone who knows the local marks/wrecks and is available to go fishing during the week. I have a Boston conquest which I keep in Moriconium and like to go fishing on Tuesdays or Thursdays all year round weather permitting. Anybody interested in coming along.
  8. The bass I managed to get on the way back were caught on rag. The tide was running pretty fast so I put 4oz of lead on a ruuning ledger to get get the bait down and that seemed to do the trick. There were quite a few fish moving through during this period, the fish finders were alarming quite a bit at times. I would like to thank Paul for an excellent day out, shame you couldn't make it Ben. You will have to tell me what this work thing is on a Friday
  9. Do you know what...all those species were on the list (with the exception of tuna lol although this could be added if you really want lol) but got taken off for the time being to get the actual site up and running Im away (fishing WOOOOHOOOO!! ) for a couple of days from tonight, but when i get back ill add all those you listed!! If anyone else has any suggestions for extra species, get in touch and we will do our best to get them added. Also any feedback in actually using the converter would be appreciated. Some of the species we have checked thoroughly, and have lots of data for (ie the Bass converter was taken from data on 1600 fish, its pretty damn accurate!!) Some others the data is taken from a much smaller studies, and we havent been able to check on an actual fish yet....so any feedback at all would be gratefully received. (Good or bad!!) Cheers Paul
  10. Hi guys, im one of the creators of Fishconverter. Thanks for the comments so far. As you probably know there are currently 23 species on the converter, but we do have plans to add more. Id be interested to hear your suggestions for which extra species you would like to see on the converter. Kind regards Paul
  11. Ben. A note of thanks for organising today's kayak competition. Although the weather was not completely in our favour, I believe the day was enjoyed by all who took part. Once again thank you for organising the event, I look forward to future competitions. Mark
