  9. Hi Bob Pay on the morning of the comp. Registration is at Baiter Slipway. At least one member of your crew will have to drive down and pay for all of you. To speed things up a little you could download and print registration forms from here. These could then be filled in prior to the day. Weigh in is also at Baiter with scales closing promptly at 5pm. ie if your not in the queue by 5pm you won't be permitted to weigh in. Martin

  16. Rich Don't use yacht varnish cause it is a right pain to maintain. Oil will only last a matter of months in the sun drying out in super quick time. Use either Sadolin or Sikens two coats and thats it. If your not bothered to much about the colour I have some Rosewood Sadolin here that you can have. If you want it I'll bring it to the meeting Martin
  17. Nice one Terry...have one for me Martin
  18. There are lug beds here at Sandbanks and other more remote locations but it is much harder to come across than ragworm. Thats probably the only reason that rag is more popular in this area. The lug beds I know of is blow lug which I think is not as attractive as the black lug we read about. When I used to beach fish regularly I preffered lug but rarely used it as shops and most bait diggers didnt stock lug. I havent tried preserved or look alike worm baits but would assume if the scent is good that it would work. If you do try some let us know what its like Bob. Martin
  19. Happy birthday Paul Hope you have a good day, put your feet up and savour the moment Martin
  20. Eagle eyed we are Power selcetivity on fixed sets is available eitehr 5 or 25 watss. However fixed sets will always switch to 25 watts when sending on ch16 and may do so on other channels. Handhelds will do exactly what they say on the tin, max will be 5 watt but some are as low as 3 watt, all are 1 watt on low power. Fixed sets are 5 watt on low power and 25 watt on full power unless the tin says otherwise. First time I have seen a sub
