  5. Jerry I would love to have had you on board but I am all crewed up at the moment. Others maybe looking for crew or as Rob says you could take your new boat (assuming it is here by then), you would not be short on help and advice and could buddy up with one or more other boats going.
  6. Happy birthday both It's all down hill from now on Dave
  7. I have now pinned this thread for ease of organising I now also have 1 crew member so can go yippee
  8. 190 litres per hour at over 90 mph equates to approximately 2 litres per mile which is good for a boat that size but more than that it would be bloomin good fun
  9. That's the dates I was thinking would suit Adam Oli I like your idea of St Peter Port for a change. I have only done Guernsey once before but it was a pleasant experience without the walk up the hill to deal with I would be up for something along those lines
  10. Yep was Gary Ayles Gazza on the forum but he hasn't been a club member for a while now
  11. I am up for it this year but Dean will almost certainly not be able to attend the earlier May dates so I will be looking for 1 or 2 crew. The only week end I can't make is the 22nd May due to Dean getting married, fancy planning your wedding around the usual Alderney dates
  12. Happy Birthday Sandy
  13. Long time no see Gordon, hope you are well and Happy Birthday

  18. Hi Allan we will be on ch6
  19. Yes I am thinking that Tuesday is the best day to go. Assuming all is well I will aim for the 7:30 bridge to take the flood tide over to the island then return on the ebb for the 4:30 bridge in. As always this plan is as fluid as the weather
  20. I must have just missed you. We had breakfast in the bar then checked our ropes then had a look at your boat from the fuel pontoon. Veronica showed as much interest in yours as she show in mine But who cares the boats are our toys not theirs
  21. Happy Birthday boys I hope in spite of the weather you have a goodun
  22. So the cod comp is cancelled but I am determined to get out if at all possible over the Christmas holidays. Tuesday is looking a possibility as are Thursday and Friday. Any others looking to get out? If I go I may well need crew is anyone else interested?
  23. Happy 21st George, have a great birthday and a Very Merry Christmas
  24. Sorry to hear of your troubles Colin. As Mal says if you need an electrician to fit I have the number of the chap we use however I think a lot of the diy type cameras are wireless. Cant personally see the point of cameras being hidden here there and everywhere as the object should be to deter the professional thief and catch the muppets.
  25. Napkin sounded more entertaining
