  8. Seems to be 2 trailers - one with black rollers and another with blue buffers. Which is it? As mentioned you should be able to adjust up.or down to work out what suits - to a certain degree as the eye on the bow will dictate how much. R

There are companies who specialise in this. I believe a modern diesel can blow seals and have fuel pump issues if running petrol. Hence, stop and have it dealt with, don't drive! Thus, I think there are a number of mobile specialists who come out and sort at your location. Good luck, Rob
  15. 3 of us on Easter Sunday had 10, 50/50 for keepers and not. Biggest a shade under 5lb, no bling was used in the apprehension of these flatties! R
  16. I ended up cleaning up at the club Xmas do raffle, then win the Open the next day, plotter / FF combo and various plus, a few hundred quid in pools for biggest flat fish etc. The following years I was handicapped by being forced to run it! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] R
  17. Was he using bait again!?!? Surely not! R

  19. 2 pics of me, and Joint Venture 1! I remember this comp, Dean won it in about 20 mins from the start! R
  20. Sounds like if you use half a tank (50 litres) getting there, you have half a tank left for drifts and then 70 for the way home, just run efficiently as you can and don't blast back up the drift as the tide can be pushing hard. Just stick to you usual cruising revs. As already said, there is Portland marina close by for a top up. Using the plotter to reset at the start of a trip, and then calculating the fuel used is something you should know. Then if you do 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 2 litres per mile it's a quick sum and you know what is expected. Just remember, if weather changes you can use 30/50% more fuel if it gets really rough. Sunday I think we did 70/80 miles in total. R
  21. JV went last Sunday, 10 for the 3 of us, 4 decent keepers amongst them. R
