    You tube

Charlie, The problem might be one of timeouts. Standard broadband lines are asynchronous, meaning that you may have 10 or 20Mb download speed but your upload speed will be about 5% of that!!!!!! (0.25Mb or 0.5Mb) So there lies a potential problem, you may be hitting the time limit for uploading. Of course if we all lived in the US and had super fast up and down speeds then it would not be an issue! Try uploading a shorter file (thus smaller) just to see if that works. Let us know how you get on. Rob
  2. I am sure Martin has a selection of Club Fleeces available for all the family!!! On a serious note - Get the house warm - thick walls IS like haveing cavity wall insulation. Once you get the heat in to them it will keep the house warm and require half the heating to top it up going forward. So far this year we are just on towel rails - I am holding out for November before full heating!! ROb
  3. I believe that End of The Line is being shown on More4 - Freeview channel this Tuesday at 10pm. This is an amazing film \ documentary which tackles the issues of over fishing and how to manage fish stocks. http://www.tvguide.co.uk/detail.asp?id=50449823 Thanks Rob

  7. I think Specimen JD is 4.5lb. Mind you the is no record for Couches Bream and a few others I bet e.g Haddock , Corkwing Wrasse. The Sole record is only 2lb 2oz! Hasn't this been beaten this year? Rob

    gps? plotter?

There are GPS devices that have no maps \ charts, but some have basic charts and data (my backup Garmin has marine buoy data and that is about it). A plotter has fully Navigation charts held electronically, they do everyting! Tides charts, Tidal flows, depths, obstructions, Moon and Sun data. Details of VHF channels for habours etc. HTH Rob

  18. You can't beat AutoGlym SRP - many of the car detailers use it as a base before applying a wax. I do once a year on the cars - JoJo has naver seen polish, but then again she is ABS plastic and not fibre and gelcoat.
  19. I have used online design websites for my boat lettering. Not sure which site but was like this: http://www.dawsonsigns.co.uk/Vinylshopcart3.htm I think was about

    Scales

I have been thinking of this topic for a little while now and reading Adam's report made me put it down in this post. We regularly accept fish weights on a trust basis, this is fine and a nice feature of the club. However, is the angler being misled by his \ her scales? I used to often hang carrier bags with bottles of lemonade in and ensuring that a 2litre bottle was 2kg etc........on my analogue dial scales. I must admit, now that I have digital scales I only did it when I first bought them. Who else checks their scales to verify them? Remember to check not only the 1lb \ 2lb weights but right up to the limit of the scales! Rob
  21. Maybe it is you Adam!!!
  22. Nice one - good luck, hope all goes well. Rob
  23. Tomorrow we will pin Jim down and tighten that very loose screw!!! (we will distract him with beer)
