I'm a member of Stour Valley Canoe Club (SVCC) which is mostly river running, but we also do a few trips into the surf with our play boats. Been toying with the idea of getting a Kayak for sea fishing, but too many other things going on at the moment. Hope you enjoy the forum. cheers BF

A pair of genuine Renault Scenic roof bars - circa 2001 model, I think. These are the proper aerodynamic style.

I've got a couple of tow bars with electrics in the garage for sale. If I remember correctly there is one from a Ford Sierra, and the other is either a Renault Scenic or a Peugeot 405 or 406. Cost >

I will miss this comp, again!! Been a bad year for comps for me. Will be doing repairs on the trailer. The front Draw Bar Coupling needs replacing so that the braking system works whilst towing. I'm fed up with de-rusting the drawbar tube and Energy store, so I'm gunna buy a complete new unit and really grease it up this time. BF

re the Members Cards. Dom, Terry, you can pick up your card at the next club meeting if you don't need it sooner, otherwise I will have to post it to you. Duncan, you asked me not to post one to you, and instead to leave yours with either with Dave Rowell or Martin. I believe I gave yours to Dave. If Dave doesn't have it I will give another one to Martin at the next club meeting. Next year I hope to be able to have a proper record of who was given a card. This year we were not properly organized with issuing the cards and it finally landed on my desk, so I have no record of who one given cards before that. cheers BF

I overheard a guide at Plymouth aquarium talking about the GW. She said it was a load of b@ll@cks. It's caused quite stir on the beaches though. There were two false alarms where lifeguards called everyone out of the water, and then found it was basking sharks. Just like the movie.
