  7. Nice one mate we nurse sore heads at home sorting the garage out after getting up at 11 what light weights
  8. Good advice not to move any pads fitted by the boatyard team. Over many years I have looked at this at work. In my personal experience two coats rolled on over the majority of the hull gives a decent coating. when lifted prior to launching I brush on paint in the pad areas which gives a similar thickness. even though this sometimes only dries for a few minutes I do not see and extra barnacles or other growth on these areas when the boat comes out next. So no need to take risks moving supports

  22. no tell tale flow can be as simple as dried salt in the tell tale connector, lift the cover off and disconnect the pipe inside or simply poke a bit of wire in from outside when the engines running and connected to a hose or afloat.. Happens all the time here at work.
  23. Hi Hooky I had a 17ft Wilson Flyer that was very heavy built as a one off. It performed badly with a cheap 45HP on the back so I fitted a new 60HP Yamaha. Wow what a difference, great after that. Are you sure that the Yamaha has a terminal problem, does it look cooked by overheating? Or is the the water flow a minor thing.
  24. Nice on Stuie Sounds like a great trip in nice weather.
