  13. no tell tale flow can be as simple as dried salt in the tell tale connector, lift the cover off and disconnect the pipe inside or simply poke a bit of wire in from outside when the engines running and connected to a hose or afloat.. Happens all the time here at work.
  14. Hi Hooky I had a 17ft Wilson Flyer that was very heavy built as a one off. It performed badly with a cheap 45HP on the back so I fitted a new 60HP Yamaha. Wow what a difference, great after that. Are you sure that the Yamaha has a terminal problem, does it look cooked by overheating? Or is the the water flow a minor thing.
  15. Nice on Stuie Sounds like a great trip in nice weather.
  16. Not a bad shout Rob Has worked for me in the past fishing downtide of the spoil grounds
  17. Hi again Oli Is it possible to get the pictures from the various threads and photo competition to also copy to the Home page. At times the pictures on there seem to be a bit old
  18. Thanks Oli I have attached the picture again as an edit, not sure it shows the likes it had though
  19. Hi Oli Just had a quick look at recent items. December fish of the month pictures now seems to only show Dave's latest picture of his huge Bass
  20. Now updated my Password, thanks to Oli I can now log in
  21. Well done Oli :D   When we lost the site for a while recently it became obvious how much we do use it to stay in touch with friends and keep an eye on recent fishing activities.   I am sure Brian also appreciates the cost savings too. :D
  22. Away this weekend and Sam is busy so I afraid Alfresco is not able to take part.

  24. Happy Birthday Mike
  25. Cannot answer that one Rob   But powerboat courses tend to be about safe passages and handling the boat. anchoring tends to be done in the shallows, if practised at all and not just discussed in Theory.   They are not too bothered with teaching how to accurately anchor and recover the anchor in front of structure and wrecks.
