  1. Far to early to say yet really Ian
  2. Rub it in Sam I will be looking after the little people for you. Lol
  3. happy Birthday Oli Hope that you had a great day.
  4. Brilliant report Fred Very impressed with your efforts , I could almost feel the excitement from here and terrific fish too
  5. 2 packs do not go over one packs so be carefull with that. All the old stuff would have to come off, plus an undercoat
  6. Biggest problem Ray would be putting good paint over rubbish. The existing paint would have to be sanded right back then you could use something like International toplac over its undercoat. We use that on our work boats here at the Yacht Club and they get a hard life. As Neal says talk to Pete at Quay West chandlers, full of good advice and will give Club discount.
  7. Sorry Ian Cannot fish that weekend as i have loaned the boat to Sam and Eileen. Had the comp in my diary for ages. But hey ho. Will still try to fish the 25th
  8. Happy Birthday graham Hope that you are well and see these messages.
  9. agree
  10. Lovely looking reels I am pleased with the 30 2 speed that I have, even if the 15kg drag is a little light for that size reel
  11. I have loaned the boat to Sam and Eileen on the19th so I hope that the Club Cod comp stays on the 25th. If it does I will be looking for crew
  12. All good advice Thanks
  13. Happy Birthday mate Have a great day
  14. Brilliant write up of what sounds like a good day out. No mention of a pink pinny, sounds like mal was busy with his tackle.
  15. Hardly a good experience for angler or the fish But what a dickhead
  16. Keeping an eye on it. But it hardly looks like a 48 hr gap Looks like only Sat or nothing at the moment. Especially as Jayden is coming Probably why this comp used to be booked in the summer
  17. Have a great birthday Chris
  18. Great return for your efforts, Super sport Shame that getting the videos done at the hectic times gets missed, we have done the same on Holiday.
  19. Well done Rob Sounds like a great trip, aws it just the one day? Great pictures too Charlie
  20. Thanks Greg Do you think heavier tackle could have stopped it?
  21. Ah the one that got away, LOL Bloody thing is getting away a lot must beef up the kit and give it a go, what do you think Rob?
  22. good luck Fred hope you get a couple, you have certainly put some preparations in
  23. Has the three month trip been shortened Fred? Typo or the presence on Nigel and his chums? good read mate Mr Chapman
  24. I bet that was exciting Fred seeing all the fins approaching on the surface Untill you could see they were dolphins that is Any luck on the lure caught sharks yet?
  25. Not sure there is Neil. You may have to settle for 3 out of 4 from your list in which case I would go for the Avet MX LH with brakes, its narrow spool makes line control easier. Or think out of the box and go for a tough large fixed spool I use Fin Nor Offshore and Cobot large spinning reels on Holiday, They have casting ability Line lay LH or RH handle positions and a drag that is far more powerful than any of my multipliers, If they can tame tropical fish there isn't much in the UK that could bother them.
