One can buy stuffed fish at many auction houses, there was a time when they were very collectable but now the price seems to be coming down. Unfortunately, the majority of stuffed fish seem to be freshwater varieties, I think I've only seen one sea variety. Whether this is because of technical problems or because people eat their trophies before getting them to the taxidermist, I don't know. See if you can get a large perch and paint it!

I expect you'll get plenty of sound advice from the real pro's, but here's mine, for what it's worth. For joing the braid to a mono leader I use the Albright knot. For joing to swivels, etc., a Trilene knot. These can be found at Animated Knots Terry.

Although I have done a course on a lovely smooth inland reservoir, mainly geared towards sailing safety boat, I am taking the course offered by the club to ensure I'm up to speed on the briny. I would have thought a more realistic bag limit would be a certain number of fish per person, per day. This would, I imagine, be more acceptable than 2 fish per person, irrespective of the number of days spent fishing. Surely the proposed legislation would only discourage visiting anglers from spending too much time in the area, thus reducing income to the Bailliwick. It would also, as mentioned previously, discourage some people from going at all.
