  2. hi lads just wondering how do i know if my trim tabs are correctly set up..is there any indecations in the boats proformance to know if the tabs are set to high or low,,not sure what to look for but i am experiencing a good drop in top end speed,,any ideas cheers,phil...

  4. Hi, Anybody recommend a good wheel clamp for an R10 size wheel. I'm looking to cover the wheel nuts...and theres a mud guard which fits pretty tight to the wheel. Any recommendations appreciated, approx cost, where to buy.... Cheers, GrantB

  16. thanks for the replies lads,,it is a 2 stroke enging by the way.the condition well the boat would pass for a 06 its realy spotless,,but the engine looks its age plane and simple and its this that has me concerned,,he is looking for 11k but as its a boat yard im sure he is looking for a good profit,,ill have to check the hours when i see it but as a guide i should be looking for less than 100hrs per year max would that be right,,never did have an hour clock on any of my previous boats,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  18. hi lads heading out at the weekend to view/test a late 2002 combo as above..just wondering if any of you guys have a similar combo from the same year or there abouts and how you find it,,as i do a lot of long range trips i am a little concerned about the engine age and the fact i dont know much about that model,,any info would be great cheers,,,,,,
  19. well i wanted to go out sunday daytime but our mate had the idea of a night trip. unfortunately he was a bit nervous in the dark and reluctant to anchor at all so the best we could do was drift around a few marks that we roughly knew because the tide was slack te drifts were slow. we picked up a load of lsd west of hengistbury groyne a load of small pout and one larger one of a pound or so. odd mackeral,a solitary garfish,ballan of around two pound,a few bream east of the groyne bout a mile out. then suddenly just after sunrise i hit into something that i thought was a bass or bigger than a bream.i had my gear set really light 8lb rod. after a couple id runs a 3 lb bream comes aboard. that was a good way to finish . my m,ates got the photo on his phone ill get it off him to post andy

I just checked the weather for sunday and all looks good,so 3 of us will be venturing east into the solent for some hound action[or whatever we can catch:p] a friend of mine had 5 hound last week from the beach at parkshore ,biggest 13 plus another friend had a handfull from pennington wall to 14. anyway i dont really know where im going but if any other boats are up for it ? if not ,have a good weekend hopefully my next post is in the catch reports:p
