I would have robbed it but he still hasn't got it! Plus he is using twin and I went for single strand. Must say, I'm impressed with the adhesive lined heat shrink, creates a nice seal over soldered joins. Also, the heat shrink adhesive crimp spade connectors work well too. I've got as far as all but the lights under the console wired this morning (interrupted by visit to Kayak classic at Swanage) just the under seat wiring to go - structure scan, sound system, bilge pump negative & bait well pump. Just the fuel line to finish (check valve and new bulb & connectors). The ready for Dartmouth next week (no sharking though, too early this year).
  9. Ready for inspection tomorrow? See you then.

So, I have measured carefully and made up all the power leads, let's hope I measured correctly!
  12. I think the lure is your imagination! I think you need yellow barrels, wire line and tie it off to one of those coffee grinder things on Frisky It is intriguing though, has to be a common skate or similar surely! So, big hook, and a bit if wire, 10ft of 500lb rubbing leader, 2 or 3 maccky whipped on, then hope for the best. But you know if you drop that down, it'll take your bream rig!!!!
  13. Top Dangler!

  24. Another 12 hr day at chez Franklin for me today. There was a lot of discussing, more discussing, measuring and the we bloody went for it!!! It does seem a shame to break up the veneer with some instruments, but I guess they all go towards making her a great fishing platform! We cut many a hole, slot, opening, drilled holes and even some floaty gel coat white stuff done (I would have missed the smell if we hadn't!). It is looking great and some changes to original plans were made but I'm pleased and it's not even mine!!! Action: Now, post paella, a beer!
  25. 3 now Stuie!!
