  1. How small? Before we give advice I think it would be handy to know what craft you have. I have a 15ft Terhi and have fished south of the needles many times. Fished 10miles out and done a few trips with a 20+ mile return journey. Judge your craft suitability on your experience & confidence. And importantly weather conditions & more importantly, the forecast! No point going out in perfect conditions if it is going to change half way though your day! Stay safe! Rob

    I think the key thing here is to tell the insurance company two things: 1: I am fitting a engine of this size 2: the boat is rated by the manufacturer to this size (which maybe less than above) Never assume the insurance company know the max HP rating for any given craft.

    Trailer help needed

    Sorted in the short term! Who would have thought my old axel that I should have got rid of early last year would fit as a suitable stand in!!!! Even using the bolt / clamp holes already in it!!
