    Boat Identification

I have to agree about the engine size. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  8. Can you identify this boat? It's 14ft x 6ft beam.

  10. You're right Jim.
  11. Hi Gary A couple of questions: 1. What make of boat is it? 2. Is it a displacement of planning hull? If it's displacement, there's no benefit in going bigger, you'll be limited by the boats' hull speed. As Martin said, a photo would help.

    Warrior 165

Hi Alan Fantastic choice of boat, what sort of budget? I'd recommend 70hp as it won't be working hard and will be very economical. If you want a look at mine or see how it goes and handles let me know.

  14. Hi Gary Sorry to hear that, we'll arrange another date. Brian
  15. I was thinking about drifting the Swash to see if we can get some a plaice.
  16. Hi Gary Gad to see you've got onto the forum. Are you busy Wednesday? I'm thinking of going for a few hours, if you're free you're welcome.
  17. I might be stuck for crew. My plan is to try the Swash for plaice and then play it by ear.
  18. Might see what's about on Wednesday, anyone else planning to be out?
  19. Luke Watts at Saltwater Solutions comes to Rockley to do my Suzuki, I'm sure he'll go to Broadstone. He used to work for Yellow Penguin who were Mariner and Suzuki agents so knows what he's doing.
  20. I have a marine wiper motor that has never been fitted and is surplus to requirements. I bought it for my previous boat, then sold the boat. £20.
  21. Happy birthday Jacob

    Women drivers

This morning on the Upton Bypass, I looked over to my right and there was a Woman in a brand new Mercedes doing 75 mph, with her face up next to her rear view mirror, putting on her eyeliner. I looked away for a couple seconds... To continue shaving and when I looked back, she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup. As a man, I don't scare easily, but she scared me so much, I had to put on my seat belt and I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the toast out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car with my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my phone away from my ear, which fell into my coffee which was between my legs, It splashed, and burned "Big Jim and the Twins", ruined the damn phone, soaked my trousers and disconnected an important call. Damn women drivers!

    Stunt Pilot

A young girl walks into a supermarket., on her way round she sees the bloke who had his wicked way with her the previous evening, after they had met in a pub. He was stacking washing powder boxes on the shelves. "You lying toad" she yells "last night you told me you were a stunt pilot." "No" he says "I told you I was a member of the Ariel display team."
