Do they check if you've actually got a radio and that it works? Or just that you've got a certificate?

Shouldn't be a problem with the bridges, my Warrior 165, with nav arch, goes under ok, I need to lower antenna. Just take note of the lights: 3 Greens = Go (Only shows when bridge is up) 1 Amber over 3 Reds = Proceed with care 3 Reds = Don't go. (Shows when bridge is about to lift and also when on coming vessels have green)
