You're probably right, it seems quiet at Cobbs compared to a couple of years ago. Apparently 8 boats moved from Cobbs to Rockley last week.

I suppose it would depend on the emergency, but you could call "Poole Bridge" on channel 12, explain your problem and try your luck. Or like me have a boat that will pass under. Or move to Rockley with the rest of the club.

That must be the difference with a Warrior 175, you get a Ladies bucket as well as a Gents. Amazing what you can do with an extra 12".

Looks good, I like your idea Mike, off out to the shed to sort through my spare rod eyes. I'll have to sort out a fixed spool reel though, as it obviously doesn't work with a multiplier.

Yes, doesn't mean it's sensible. All that means is it was decided by committee, which guarantees they've had to compromise to try and please everyone. When the international system for traffic lights is just 3 lights. Which people understand. Should be entertaining in the summer, when the Birmingham Navy arrive.
