  1. As the speed limit is 10knts through the water, you were probably exceeding it..
  2. Is that with a beret, bicycle and stripped T-shirt?
  3. Trevor I don't want anything for it (but a couple of rubby duggy bags could be useful), do want me to bring it tonight?
  4. I've got 20 metres of 40mm rope that I was going to use on my previous boat as fendering. If it's any good to anyone you're welcome.
  5. Better drag him along tonight.
  6. Ebay item no 330724788201
  7. Some of those might even mean out fishing!!!
  8. Hi Jim Surely after reading the spec and looking at the photos, you must of had second thoughts about selling Small Fry. (Don't forget grandkids get bigger and therefore need more room, not less).
  9. If it was the "gear shift protection", the gauges etc would still work and be illuminated. My money's on a supply/earth fault or faulty ignition switch.
  10. That was my first thought. Presumably the fuse in the lead from the battery to the control lever is ok. It's the white wire that goes onto the battery +ve with the main starter cable.
  11. I hope it will be re-scheduled but it says cancelled not postponed, so maybe not.
  12. Beaulieu Boat Jumble has been cancelled due to the weather, I received this a few minutes ago. Dear Brian, Due to strong gusting winds forecast for Sunday, together with the persistent rain of the last week, the Management Team at Beaulieu has regrettably made the decision to cancel the 35th Beaulieu Boatjumble. All advance ticket holders and exhibitors will be offered a full refund. Those with advance tickets may still use them to visit the Beaulieu attraction on Sunday, with the opportunity to see the new BOND IN MOTION exhibition. If you choose to do so, you will not be entitled to a refund. Full information on how to claim a refund will be available from Tuesday and can be found on our website www.beaulieuboatjumble.co.uk. We respectfully ask that you refrain from telephoning with any queries regarding refunds before Tuesday.
  13. We used to tow a dinghy, used it for going ashore (e.g. Brownsea, Studland etc.). Adam By memory I'd say the fishing was much better, but maybe I only remember the the good days. Had to have more patience with a slow boat, decide where to fish and stick with it.
  14. Life was much more sedate in 1982, 6 knts flat out, but a gallon seemed to last for ever.
  15. Rob If he hasn't got a cuddy, he can't bring on his plants behind glass
  16. Good luck with the sale Jim. If you're ever in need of a "Warrior Fix" let me know.
  17. Hi Graham Yes MegaByte is still sat in the drive.
  18. Graham That's extremely kind of you, but I'll make a donation anyway. When would be convenient to pick it up?
  19. There might be a business opporunity here. All you need is a small RIB stationed between the two bridges selling GRP/Gel repair kits.
  20. microSD then. The full specification is HERE You can download the Manual HERE
  21. I've got the new Lowrance HDS-5 which uses SD, the Lowrance Elite-5 uses MicroSD. As I said, we need to know what plotter Barto intends buying.
  22. Barto It might help if you say which Plotter you're buying, people would then know what format you require.
  23. Happy Birthday Jim
