Paul, got down there, got 5 fish feeding tails up in 2feet of water. Thought id give them 10 mins to get confident, then relised id 4gotten my hooks...tw@t. I just stayed there for the hour just feeding up a group 4 next time.

im going to Lymo 2nte for a mullet. The conditions are rank for them but the missus suggested the idea of watching a dvd, so the sooner i can get out the better. If anyone wants to join me, give me a call. prob be there for about 8pm, so just fish for an hour.

I know there has been quite a bit of talk about this wreck, but does anyone know if its been fished much in the last month or so? I always say im going to fish it, but always seem to take the safe bet and choose Xray. How far away from the wreck would u anchor(if theres any of the ship left that is)? Or is it best to drift? Anyone ever night fished it? I choose the safe option as i dont get much time to be afloat, therefor i always head for my tried and tested areas.

Gnasher is up for sale, just trying to get cash for a bigger boat (plaicemats mocroplus, if it hasnt already gone). It includes boat, trailor, 2 stroke 28hp yammy, electric start, starts everytime (forward gears only, so no reverse), brand new teleflex fitted, fuel tank with line, 4 berkley rod holders, 4 stainless rod holders, twin skinned, with internal electric bilge. Steaming light, nav lights, internal lights, VHF, Garmin fish finder, Garmin gps (complete with loads of marks), anchor, warp, built in light up compass. Its handpainted, so if you are into your cosmetics, then it will need touching up. Shes a cathedral hull, Capri 15 Dory.

cracking result Bob, i called dom last night and he said u were on the money. He recons they were tied on the wrong bouy. Dom was at home today proudley showing his missus and her friends a big bass that he caught them for supper.................Of course he was showing off Gordens fish and claiming the credit......haha.....

couldnt fish last nte as the brownie points were out, ive still not got any but i'l take a risk. The congering was good on the ledge last nte (with some big bass landed on the conger baits, but i'l leave that for others to report), and i may be up for a night sorte. If anyone wants to crew let me know (or looking 4 crew), i would of thought id be launching about 8.30-9pm muddeford. Just hope i get time to get some maccy. split costs etc (about 7squid fuel and a couple of quid parking, unless we take seperate cars)

i want plaicemats microplus to, its a decent price, just aint got the funds either. Gnasher would have to go, then a bit of saving

Chris aka thats_a_biggin in the forum has a 14ft dejon, trailer and 30hp outboard. A fishing workhorse. Its on ebay, but im sure he would listen tyo an offer. Theres 2 days left and its on 500quid, so it will prob go for around a grand. PM me if interested.

i would love to fish them all, but im another who works every sunday and has other commitments. But if i was to fish, i would take it seriously. The idea of the comp, is to give your mate a good whooping, get sum bfm points, and have the possibility of a bloody good prize at the end. Thats why the likes of James and a few others fish their nuts off, as he knows first hand of the rewards that it can bring. We should maybe 'big' the event up prior. maybe a pic of the winner of each event on the home page just to show everyone that comps are important. But for the likes of myself who work sundays, it aint ever gonna make a differance, but there has to be ways of advertising the comp to our members better. Need something more 'in your face'
