Ok, Rob aint everyones fave skipper, but if they catch fish for the articals, and the content is good, im happy.

    Crabs

its true, just get talking to the lads who fish for the big bass in muddiford harbour.....if not using livebaits, most will be using peeler, or softies as its the only way they can keep a bait in the water long enough for mr bass. Maccy/squid gets stripped by the crabs in seconds.......I still supect, the odd crab will still have ago, but it will definatley stay intact much longer than other baits.
  7. ive seen it,but it seems a bit odd as to why its down, as its on a tight pontoon mooring and i also doubt its full of rain water. I suspect that as its in full view, the harbour master would of reported it by now.
  8. driveway...spot on alun
  9. bl00dy ankles.......mines still broken, out of plaster 2 soon i think and i can hardley walk..........a new name for me........Lottery ankles..........as they keep rolling over....
  10. I know some free parking close by at muddiford Alun;-) i think i will speak to Dom and find out what the plan is then. Thanks simon. Dan
  11. as i dont get out often, im thinking about fishing from xchurch as i dont know poole waters or any marks. I think this rules me out of the Burnham comp as im not launching from baiter, but i can still fish the bream comp out of xchurch..........is anyone else launching from wick/muddiford?? Im thinking of getting there earlier than usual to get a fry up going on the stove......And also to put my car somewhere where i can get some free parking...... P.S, if i do change my mind and go from baiter, what is the parking and launching costs and are the marks fairly close in as I dont want to be steaming to far with my small boat. Dan
  12. me and Dom are defo going............not sure if im out of baiter though as i have never fished from there, so i may just fish the bream comp out of xchurch........or i will tag along to baiter and follow people around pinching secret spots, haha
  13. aint that Padstone Pete from BFM fame? it prob wieghs as much as the boat....

any1 know if BFM are doing a report on the home leg of the burnham comp? (22nd may i think?)
  24. i only really launch from muddiford or wick, theres plenty of fishing to be had around there. Your welcome along anytime......with regard to Poole, i havnt fished that way, but im sure someone will post some areas to help you. Weymouth is a bit out of the way for me really, but Adam does a few trailaway days that way, so just keep an eye out for any up and comming trips.
  25. hi mikey, welcome to the club. Just so we can narrow down the marks in our club waters, where do you launch from? (thats if the boat isnt moored). Dan
