  1. If only! You should know it comes under the heading of 'It's your job, your a Dad!' Terry.
  2. Thanks for your thoughts lads, I did have a day at least. Number 1 daughter talked me into felling a big old tree in a friends garden which took up most of the day time. She gets all the logs and I get - exercise. Good to know I haven't lost my touch with a chainsaw. As a reward, Amanda cooked us dinner and supplied the wine which was, in some part, adequate recompense. Terry.
  3. What, reel, anchor winch (windlass)? Terry.
  4. Happy Cake Day young Pete, catch up soon. Terry.
  5. Remember, the tuna are coming! Terry.

  7. I am very happy with my Seago ones, I have used the Seago Classic automatic for years and have just added a pair of their Active 190n automatics as I now have a larger boat and increased family crew members. Easy to maintain and recharge and comes with a crotch strap. Terry.
  8. Interesting! I had spotted a lot of sign firms doing it but thought, obviously erroneously, that it would be a specialist job. I shall explore that if the G3 paste doesn't work. Thanks. Terry.
  9. Ta! Terry.
  10. Thanks for the offer Jim, I do have a cabled one myself, one of those things that I thought sometime in the past would be a Good Thing. I think I've used it once! Charlie, I think you are correct when I figure in travelling time and fuel costs. Would that be a fibreglass specialist or a boat valet. I asked Darren at MD to give it a go in the spring when he did the boat but he only managed to get a good shine on the discolouration. Terry.
  11. Thanks for the advice and have you got her number? Terry.
  12. When I'm convinced it's just surface. A plan starting to come together. Terry.
  13. Photo's when I'm next in Poole. Good thought about the T-cut, it does appear to be on the surface rather than ingress of discolouring into the gel coat. Terry.
  14. I did - no effect, very disappointing. Looking at it I thought it was sun damage but it is not all over, just in patches. I'm really scratching my head over this one, it's the only thing that is marring the appearance of the boat. Terry.
  15. Does anyone know of somebody who does hull wrapping? I don't actually want the hull wrapped but two wheelhouse pillars that have got discolouring which I can't shift. Terry.
  16. Happy cake day Stuie, they keep coming around - fortunately! Terry.
  17. Happy cake day Andy, last time I saw you, you gave me worms! 😉 Terry.
  18. You won't regret it. Terry.
  19. Another one for Portcawl, been with them for years, sometimes stays the same, sometimes comes down, never known an increase until I upgraded. Terry.

What part of Norfolk is home, I'm from Holt. Terry.
  22. Thanks for your personal experience input Pete. Terry.
  23. Right, I'm toying with fitting Baystar hydraulic steering to Min-y-Mor, it is pretty stiff and jerky under power, no problem at low revs. I know it is not a difficult job but I'm getting to the stage where I find it difficult working low down or getting into contorted shapes to fit things into tight spaces. Does anyone know of someone who could do this job, not sure if it comes under the auspices of engine doctors or general boat work. Terry.

Trev, what you been up to mate? I was not aware so this comes as a shock. I hope you are content with your new bionic status, keep us all up to date. Get normal soon! Terry.

    Buoys.

Just what I was wondering, surely can't mean the channel markers. Terry.
