  1. I am looking to continue my lucky streak and get out Sunday. I was hoping to try somewhere far out but the weather window seems to be moving back more every time I look. So maybe I will just try one of the banks for some rays or out a little further in the look for some larger tope? Is anyone else out?
  2. Good to see you back Ben and some very nice pics too.
  3. lovely looking boat ... I walked up Wareham River a few weeks ago and saw it out there. Shame its gotta go, but needs must at times
  4. I am a fan of in close to the cliffs at Ballard Lofty. I have had some very good days there.
  5. I will be out that way tomorrow from about mid day.
  6. Thanks Tom, It was partly to help with my trip planning in the hope that maybe I can "go with the flow" rather than always be battling the flow of the tide. Many thanks.
  7. I am sure I should know this but to assist with my setting up ready for drifting and with my trip planning, when the tide is on the ebb does it run from East to West or the other direction?? Thanks.
  8. Not me Adam but I can get the money to Nigel (or Martin) and maybe they can collect for me?? Or maybe I could pop to your works and collect?

    Pond Builder

Not sure I agree with your last post Jim (apart from the wallet bit) I built a small pond, then increased it, and again and again till it ended up being a 6000 gal pond (more like a swimming pool). Bought some 3 inch Koi from Sway Lakes and by the time I moved about 9 years later there were a couple of them well over 24" long. They used to come to the side of the pond and eat from my hands too. I built a smaller (but deeper) tank when I moved but alas my babies didnt survive for long Fantastic, relaxing & rewarding hobby once you get it right. Bul very frustrating, expensive and saddening when you dont.
  25. Sshhhhh Tom ...... theres plenty of time for that to change another 20 times between now and then.
