theres a little open top dory, looks about 15ft or so, outboard in fairly good nic on a trailer on the roadside in Hordle, near Lymington. Its outside Stuart Balies Tool Hire on the roadside. I think its up for about 1100 but worth an offer of around 700. perfect for in and around the bay. its only 15 min drive from you so worth a look. Dan

Free twin axel...galvenised...bearings knackered....pick upfrom New Milton area...anyone? even if anyone wants 2 sell it for scrap, but that would be a shame because the frame seems sound.

can't get onto easytide to check, but i know what time low water is for wed, but does anyone know if were on springs? or how big the tides are predicted to be? I don't want to be fishing with 2lb+ of lead wednesday at the back of the island if it is big and will think of an alternative plan.

with all this junk weather were having, i thought id share some pics with some of the course fishing guys that i know use this site. I know most arn't that interested, but at lease its a post that some may find interesting (ish) Recently, i managed a trip in to do some french carping. The weather was poor and although the fishing was slow, i managed some great fish, with the best being a beauty common of 53lb 8oz. We also banked a few modest sized catfish to. All the fish were landed on New Forest Boilies Fish 5 mix. Here are a few pics Dan 40lb.4oz mirror below

ok mate sounds good, can u hold it for me please? If i cant make the next meeting and you are there (work most thursday evenings you see), i will ask someone else and see if they can grab it for me. Cheers Dan

hey, No, it has to be welded. U Bolts would have been the preferred option, but its a no go. Tommo, PM mate.

hi mate. Im not at a pc and sending this from my phone and cant pm with this easily. Yes the frame is galvanised but axel isnt. Dont worry about the pint, il sort u out with some sponds. Il get dom aka dommyboy 2 pm u on my behalf as we share the boat. Cheers mate. Dan

hey, i have just got to weld the new axel to the trailer frame. i need about 12 inches of welding done. is there anyone who can do it? The trailer is in Hordle, near New Milton. Hopefully someone who isn't gonna charge through the roof Cheers, Dan

Mine isn't sorted, but its on the one that Trev kindly lent me, so i can still get out, but its just course fishing that has taken over this summer/autumn and motivation to get afloat hasn't been there as much. I will be more motivated when the 1st winter needles cod is reported anyway, a day off, so if i don't afloat, i will be on the river instead

Fri, maybe some drifting for a spikey, or on the banks for a ray. I may take mine, or can crew for someone else, weather depending. split costs. If it is on mine, then it will be a mudeford launch! Dan

weather seems ok 2moz...i could be up for crewing someone, if not to early, or could be tempted to take mine if anyone wants to go......I will more than likely head to the rivers and do some barbel fishing, but could have my mind changed....if anyone's doing anything, send me a message.... i dont want an early start either....i have just hit 30 and age is catching up...haha
-
i been looking at getting some u bolts, but the size seems to be an issue as the axel is rather chunky....i need an inside measurment of 100mm with a length of a minimum of 150mm....everyone i have looked at seems slightly to small

right the work on the new trailor is comming along nicely, but i now need to secure the base of the trailor to the axel. The axel was never actually welded, but had some kind of heavy duty clamps keeping it together. Does anyone know what these kind of clamps are called? Cheers, Dan

Just got myself a roller coaster trailer for my boat (well getting next week) that isn't complete. It just needs a new axel that i already have fitted which shouldn't be a problem. The trailer is in decent nick, but i just want to replace some of the rollers. Where is the best place to look and how much are they? This msg is being sent from my phone and thats the only net i have now, and browsing sites take an age, so if you can just post some prices that would be awsome. I paid 50quid for it and the frame seems sound. Just need to get it road worthy now
