I need to take Enticer out as I'm going cold turkey. So saturday looks the quietest day of the week I thought a trip out of Lymington to shelter on the north banks of the IOW and see what those reefs and holes might produce. Anyone fancy blowing the cobwebs out with me? Gordon

Another point Mike. If you are going on a mooring, a 3 year service interval would reduce the need to take her out of the water too often

Mike Join the Etec club, a nice 115, a lot lighter and 3 years before your first service. As Adam said, a little noisier on tick over but certainly a lot quieter than the traditional 2 stroke. But once it's under way I would say that they are no louder than the Mariner and with the extra exceleration from the 2 stroke it would get you on the plane quicker. Decisions decisions. What ever you choose, I am sure you will be in love with it like I am (Sorry Mrs Mike, I am certain he loves you more!) Good Luck and look forward to seeing you out there

Gordon, What was the problem in the end and how much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking?

I put an advertisment out for lorry drivers a few days ago and HR got all flustered because I said that applicants needed to be "fit and healthy" due to the physical nature of the job. I was respectfully informed that this was impling that the job might only be suitable for younger people! It was suggested that something along the lines of "the job entails a fair amount of heavy lifting and physical effort" You can imagine my responce
