  1. Unless I missed it, I think this is still a clip type. What I was looking for is a holder that cups the intire mic, although I'm not 100% certain that it is going to work as my mic has a key pad on the front.
  2. Can anyone help and tell me where I can get a mic holder for my VHF. The moulded clip on the back has broken from numerous times falling out of the holder (metal clip) so I am looking for a universal holder in soft plasic maybe? So it stays secure. Does anyone understand my ramblings
  3. Can that make you blind
  4. That was mine from last Wednesday. To post yours. Add a reply, click on the browse button to search where your picture is located, then double click on it and allow enough time for it to load. PS You will need to make sure the file size is not too big Give it a try
  5. Oh no I'm so embaressed
  6. I have to say there is a shortage of good quality, large, recently caught fish on our home page
  7. Tony We are always looking for crew. As long as your happy to split the days costs and scrub the decks (just joking) (about the scrubing) (not the costs) especially if you are available at short notice. Keep an eye on the site when we are looking for crew and don't be afraid to offer yourself good luck Gordon PS especially if you know about conger fishing. How about posting that picture full size
  8. Mike Having only been seriousley boat fishing for about 2 years I have done the cheap rods and only selling them on ebay to recover some of the outlay makes me feel it wasn't totally pointless. I am a convert to the Abu Conalon (obvious after fishing with Adam so often) The 30 to 40lb was my first (I now have 2 plus a couple of 50s) it has a nice soft tip to detect those sly conger bites and yet it behaved flawlessly hauling up that 55 last Wednesday. They have stopped making it now but you can hunt them down on the web and they are going for a good price
  9. It was coiled in my landing net
  10. Book Enticer in and I will need crew.
  11. I think we were typing in unison Terry
  12. Kam I foolishly started with 70lb and was bitten of by a good fish. Went up to about 150lb (I think) Even then I had to change the hook length a couple of times after conger teeth worked on it. We were both using 70lb rubbing leader wich on the whole worked but Terry was a little unlucky but he decided that he had been letting the bites develope for too long. Gordon
  13. And the big one Fish of the month
  14. Well it was a bit early in the season for pollock this far east and north but I couldn't resist the weather so Terry (Plaicemat) and I slipped out of Mudeford about 8.00am this morning to try a few wrecks and fish the slack for congers. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky and bearly a ripple on the water. Well we found 3 of the wrecks I had marks for and unfortunately the polllock, pout or cod didn't want to play. We don't think it was down to the dredger at work half a mile away, possibley the small tides. Anyway we settled on the last one in the area and we were into congers from the off with Terry getting bites from the start on Squid and I had one rod on cuttle head and another on Mackerel. Terry had a strap then one about 30lb (his PB) I lost a good one when it bit me off. Both of us lost a few bits of tackle on the rough ground, I then pulled up a 30 when Terry started to heave on another only to be cut off in the wreck, within seconds I had a bite and it was a good one. Once it got to the boat it decided it wanted to go back home and off it went. After a good struggle it weighed in at 55lb. (It also had Terry's lost trace in its mouth! Sorry mate) Way past my previous best. We fished a couple of hours of flood which saw another couple of eels and we decided to head for home about 4.00pm. Enticer ran flawlessley again (after I opened the tank vent ) and we did 37 miles on 25 litres. Great company, weather and fishing. Thanks for crewing Terry

  19. It looks like it's going to be a nice couple of days Wed & Thurs, does anyone fancy crewing on Enticer for a bit of wrecking? I'm thinking a few drifts to see if any decent pollock about or a stray bass, then anchor up for a conger or 2. Either day I can do. Any takers?

    Pc Passwords

A bit like the sandals A woman was helping her husband set up his computer, and at the appropriate point in the process, the computer advised him that he would now need to enter a password. Something he will use to log on. The husband was in a rather amorous mood and figured he would try for the shock effect to bring this to his wife's attention. So, when the computer asked him to enter his password, he made it plainly obvious what he was entering by stating each letter out loud as he typed...... P... E.... N.... I.... S.... His wife fell off her chair laughing when the computer replied: *** PASSWORD REJECTED. NOT LONG ENOUGH ***
  25. Paul A wire brush on a drill will get rid of most of that serface rust and make it more attractive to a buyer Regards Gordon
