Hi all I was out on Saturday 30th, telling two novices that fishing wasn't a game of chance, my defining case: alun j ! Thanks for endorsing it with more evidence! PS 3 mackerel and a doggie mackerel tasted brilliant PPS how does one tie live bait?

I have a Warrior 165 that i want to clean up and polish to get back the lovely shine it used to be. I bought a buffer / polisher from Halfords that i havent used yet because it looks and feels too big plus the bit that the actual bonnets go on seem too hard for the job. I havebought some cleaning and wxng / polishing products from "Starbrit" but would like to getthing smaller in the way of a buffer / polisher. Can anyone point me in the right direction Thanx

Does anyone fish the wreck of the Clan Macvey in Poole bay? I was thinking about launching from Christchurch and trying it over the weekend. What could I expect to catch there? Dive Dorset gives the GPS numbers, does anyone know how accurate the book is on this wreck? Any other wrecks worth trying in that area?

Four married guys go fishing. After an hour, the following conversation took place: First guy: 'You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come out fishing this weekend. I had to promise my wife that I would paint every room in the house next weekend.' Second guy: 'That is nothing, I had to promise my wife that I would build her a new deck for the pool.' Third guy: 'Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife that I would remodel the kitchen for her.' They continue to fish. When they realized that the fourth guy has not said a word, they asked him. 'You haven't said anything about what you had to do to be able to come fishing this weekend. What's the deal?' Fourth guy: 'I just set my alarm for 5:30 am. When it went off, I shut off my alarm, gave the wife a slap on her ass and said: 'Fishing or Sex?' And???? She said: 'Wear sun-block.'

Firstly can I thank you Paul for posting this on the forum and making your members aware of the match, I appreciate this is a boat fishing forum but some of you possibly shore fish aswell from time to time My son has been selected along with four other Juniors to represent England in the world championships in Barcelona in October this year, it is the highest honour to represent your country but a costly one for all team members and managers. Chris Clark and Steve Allmark are managing the team again this year and they too have to fund their trip , infact Chris is paying for the boys flights out of his own pocket to ease the burden . Myself and Tom Bagnall from Christchurch Angling centre decided to run an open match to raise fund for the junior team as a whole , to help cover some of the costs as well as raise awareness to the lack of funding. Each junior selected to fish the world championships has sponsorship from Fox International with a Conqueror multi tip match rod and an Extreme Horizon beach caster as well as sponsorship from Kamasan with a supply of match hooks for the event and more recently Tronix who are suppling rig winders for the huge amount of rigs each competitor has to take. The rest is down to the parents with

-
Please be aware that since all 4 of us left Propeller Revolutions at Cobbs Quay, anything taken there for repair is being sent away to be done in Aldershot. If you need it done quickly, bring it to us at Unit 18, Bridge Street, Bailie Gate Ind Est, Sturminster Marshall, BH21 4DB. 01258 858784. We aim to have a 1 week turnaround. Repairs, rebush, skeg repairs, new ali and stainless. Same crew as was at Prop Revs. Ta.
